A Museum Piece

At the suggestion of the Barton County Historical Society, the city of Great Bend declared itself the "Lustron Home Capital of Kansas", They have added a Lustron Home to their Historic Village (located just south of Great Bend on US-281). For more information, visit their web site.

On July 12, 2005, the Great Bend Tribune had a front-page article by Dale Hogg about the acquisition. The story included a picture of the interior as well as the photo below and a sidebar story about Lustron Homes.
